E/Paintable Insulation™ is a unique formula of silicone rubber technology offering high dielectrict strength in a paintable insulation.

Prevents power system outages and damage caused by animals
Has high dielectric strength
Has excellent atmospheric and chemical resistance
Becomes a tough, tear-resistant coating

A one-coat application of 30 mils on metal surfaces provides 10kV insulation strength. When applied to both ends of electrical insulators, metal support structures, bushings and pothead there is sufficient insulation obtained to guard against animal caused flashovers. When applied to the surface of electrical insulation such as FRP Barrier Boards, E/Paintable Insulation™ imparts water repellency and arc-track resistance.

E/Paintable Insulation™ features superb unprimed adhesion to galvanized metal and most insulating ceramic, glass and plastic materials.
