The E/Barrier™ is a round disc formed to block climbing animals from contacting phase-to-ground and phase to-phase conductors.

Midsun constructs E/Barrier™ from an engineered polycarbonate thermoplastic.

E/Barrier™ are a transparent sheet featuring a proprietary first and second surface finish for enhanced Ultra Violet resistance, with the strength unmatched by even the impact modified acrylics.

They offer a high voltage puncture resistance and superior weatherability and strength, which is suited for applications that are very demanding. Midsun Group can also make modifications to the design to meet Utility Engineer specific requirements.
